What Does a Foot Treatment Entail?

Our feet are often much neglected, especially after a long winter crammed into socks, shoes or boots. Generally, the treatment starts with a good soak in a therapeutic foot bath. This helps deep-cleanse the skin and soften any roughened patches – and it smells just divine too. An exfoliating rub with natural minerals and salts is then liberally applied to remove any dead skin from the feet’s surface. Our trained staff will next professionally and gently remove or neaten softened cuticles, then cut and shape your toenails.  For a little extra, you can include a hot bootie treatment at this stage: these electrically heated booties will soothe aches and pains as well as opening up the skin’s pores, which will improve the penetration of the oils and moisturising cream that’s applied in the next stage of the treatment.
